it's good to see ur interest in the C and C++ language but u hav to do some thing different.

In boooks u didn't find anything to read u just hav to do practicals or improve ur Implementation method how to Implement the program.

Any book u read that is good but u hav to improve the knowledge by doing practicals.

some books i will tell u that will help u in improve the concept of pointers as well as others also

1)Pointers in C by Yashwant Kanitkar

2)Complete reference by TMH

3)Balaguruswamy of C++

Reply:Book of Balagurusamy is of very low standard. Dont follow that.

Follow Compete Reference By Herbert Schildt or Thinking in C++ by Bruce Eckel.

they both are highly recognised good books.
Reply:Text Book on C++ and C by Balaguruswamy
Reply:The best entry level book for a novice student i would recommend for C is,

Let Us C -Yashwant Kanetkar.

For C++ pickup

C++-Black Book by Steven Holzner

WIndows programming is an entirely different issue, u need Visual C++ or other 32-bit c++ versions for programming windows.
